Vienna Day 3 & Welcome Aboard MS Joy
Our luggage must be taken to the Grand Hotel Wien by 1030 for transport to the ship.
At 1100, Klaus is hosting an introduction to the wines of Leo Hillinger at Leo's winebar. The turnout is disappointing. We have been drinking Leo's wines for years and were not Klaus' hoped for audience.
We load a motor coach at the Hotel Grand Wein. A short drive delivers us to the River Danube waterfront where far more cruise ships than we ever imagine plied the Danube are docked; and this is only Vienna.
Chef Jacques has hosted a number of tours on board Tauck ships and is welcomed back by the crew.
The rooms corridor on the ship seems endless.
We are very pleased with our room.
