A weekend in Provence

CJ has brought his Blue Danube plague to Provence. First stop in the clinic where the doctor diagnosis bronchitis and loads him up with prescriptions.
Stop 2 is in the small village of Cabannes where Dominique reopens her pharmacy to fill them.  Not a good start to the weekend planned.

A better start is CJ's buddy, Gibson. He could sense on a previous visit CJ's stress.  He can sense the sickness on this one.
They have the most marvelous property in Provence just outside of Avignon.  It is built in a southwestern style, much like you'd find in Arizona or New Mexico.  Years of growth have delivered tall natural privacy fences. The complex is build as a hacienda. There is a main house, fully equipped outdoor cooking and dining area, lounging patio, large pool, separate garages and small B&B.

Dominique has returned from the local market.

In the afternoon, after many visits, we finally make use of the pool.

Christian prepares a magnificent dinner of Arabian spiced lamb balls in the outdoor kitchen. CJ's serving Austrian red wine from Klaus' cruise selection.
