Outer Banks of North Carolina, Here We Come

TSA is such a pain.  Carol has purchased designer salt and pepper and is carrying it in her roll aboard.  They are meant to be gifts for our Carolina host.  TSA stops us in screening and opens them and performs a chemical test on the salt crystals and pepper flakes. The claim is any "powder" must be tested.  They took it out of the suitcase full of pills; every one of which is filled with powder.

After passing through Smithfield to retrieve the final Virginia order of prescription medications, we arrive in the Outer Banks around six pm.  The house is located near the beach and has four bedrooms and a huge family room.

Grzegorz introduces us to the rest of the Zemla clan, wife Maria, son Franciszek (Frank) and 12-year old daughter Gosia (Margaret). Cocktails with steamed Carolina shrimp are followed by a fine pork dinner.
