Prague Touring

We have a guide and driver for a half day.  Teresa is an experienced guide and comes with a young, but experienced driver.
We'll soon find out that Prague is a very compact city.  We traverse the Jewish City on the way to our first stop at Charles Bridge where we leave the vehicle for a stroll across the historic bridge ripe with tales of ceremony and execution.

The thing in the water is an ice breaker.  It protects the bridge pylons during winter.

The bridge also affords good views of the castle and river.

There is a quaint neighborhood on the castle side of the bridge.
We rendezvous with the car and climb for a great view of Prague from a hillside monastery. Here we also sample the monastery's home brew.

We pass by the entrance of Hradčany Prague Castle and walk Hradčanské Náměstí or Hradcany Square.
We return to the other side of the river stopping first at Wenceslas Square.

The highlight of any tour of Prague must be the Old Town Square where one finds their famous astronomical clock, beautiful buildings and two gorgeous churches surrounding a large public square.

We request dropoff at a recommended restaurant near our hotel.
