Crusing to Regensburg in the morning and come along this on the river bank. What do you make of it? Seems a might out of place; at least not a German architecture.
Arrived in Regensburg at 0900.
CJ has waken under the weather and will not tour. Carol will visit the Thurn & Taxis Palace. By most accounts this palace tour is the most disappointing of the trip.
The Captain conducts wheelhouse tours in the afternoon. As one would expect, controls are fully electronic. The propellers are not fixed by both stern propellers and bow thrusters rotate through 360 degrees. And for shallow water areas, the entire room lowers into the hull and the window lower into that. The Captain is left sitting in his seat looking down at the radar display while his heads protrudes through the hole in the roof.
Jacques conducts a Chocolate Truffle cooking demo in the early evening.
On the first day, they introduced the crew. On this last evening, they parade through the lounge in department order again.
The business part of the cruise ends the final dinner followed by a Chocolate Extravaganza Buffet in the lounge.. By 1000 tomorrow morning, MS Joy will be in our rear view mirror and we'll be on our way to Switzerland.
