Culture Differences - The Vending Machine

CJ has been intrigued by the cultural difference demonstrated by the common vending machine since his days of working in France.  A full vending machine would be allowed to deplete to nearly totally empty before it was restocked.  The French don't snack so it took the vending machines in the factory nearly a month to work their way down to where they were restocked.

Here is a picture of the vending machine in the hotel.
I suspect it's been in this state for weeks and will be for weeks more before it gets filled.  The other thing to notice is that in the last two slots of the lower left row are  1664 and  Heinekin beers.  There is water, sugared Coke, sandwiches, chips, and candy.  All the contents of multiple American vending machines; and more.

At Raytheon, they restocked vending machine multiple times a day.  At the Thomson factory, it was likely once every two months.
