It took a full five days of incredible effort by the lads at the WACA. They had to fight back from a huge Pom score. They battled the weather gods on Day 5. Had Day 5 been abandoned, the match would have been drawn after the massive Aussie fightback. The ground staff, lawn blowers by the dozen won the day and play started late.
In the end, the Ashes are once again back in Australian hands. Three straight test wins at the Gabba, Oval and WACA.
All this fuss over that little urn that's smaller than CJ's bubbly glass.
Now we go for a 5-0 whitewash with victories in Melbourne and Sydney.
We celebrated in the apartment with blood orange prosecco.
