Pre Christmas walking and shopping

The Saturday before Christmas Eve CJ took the free bus to North Adelaide to purchase Belgium beer for Christmas Eve dinner as requested by our host. When he misses his stop at Melbourne St., he must walk back across the North Adelaide parklands.  He never realized how extensive they were.

After lunch, it's Carols turn to walk the few blocks to Rundle Mall to shop. Carol returns to find CJ watching Twenty20.  Don't feel sorry for her.  She is not a cricket widow.  She's into it as much as CJ.

Carol has ordered French bread and must get it from the market on Christmas Eve morning. The Adelaide Central Market has a special Sunday opening for the holiday. Meanwhile, CJ has caught the Popeye river boat to the zoo.  From there he takes a long route through the botanical gardens. Following a quick stop for a Leffe Bruin, he walks back across town completing his morning exercise. A beer mid-exercise is very Aussie; or at least that's CJ's story and he's sticking to it.
