Ashes - Day 3

Today CJ' mate, Phil from McLaren Vale joins him at the Oval. Seats are easier to come by on Monday.  We manage great seats two rows from the door to one of the best bars; one with a bathroom.  Life is good.

Weather threatens throughout the morning but holds.  It clears mid-day. The Adelaide Oval scoreboard is the oldest mechanical scoreboard in Australia.  It's a technical marvel of its time on the inside.
During the dinner break the field is filled with young children playing at cricket.  It's a hoot to watch.

With Phil catching a 7:30 train, CJ joins Carol at the apartment to watch most of the final session. Australia is trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.  It is a frustrating evening.
