Ashes - Day 2

CJ and his mate, Dave, have elected to show up much closer to start time today to avoid the long lines.  Unfortunately with a sell out crowd, we've also managed to avoid getting a seat during the first session.

CJ won the ballot for tickets to the new Bodyline Bar for the second session. We cop one of the small number of stadium seats in the bar and since we're at the beginning of the cue, CJ manages a prime seat centered on the open window with a perfect view of the pitch. Sean Marsh's drive for six which brings up his Century comes right at us.  For the record, a minute or so before CJ turned to Dave and said, "now let's have Sean whack a six in this big hole in the fielding alignment just in front of us."

 

What is up with these people.  Members seating remains full for the third session. Good cricket, beautiful skies including rainbows are interrupted by rain.  The POMs escape disaster with the arrival of the rain.
