Shopping at the Adelaide Central Market

Once or twice a week we pass by the Adelaide Central Market to shop. The market is of European styling and has rows of vendor stalls. It is conveniently located in the center of Adelaide adjacent to Chinatown.

This is only a small sampling of the offerings at the market. There a multiples of everything.: butchers, seafood vendors, produce vendors, restaurants, cheese shops, spice shops, sausage shops. Everything and anything you want. And for staples, on the side opposite Chinatown is a Coles supermarket, flower shops, pharmacies, and a liquor store.

Here Carol is at one of the many produce vendors she frequents. The only thing she purchases at this one is avocados. The guy in the picture is the stall owner and can pick an avocado of any ripeness to order.

At the Italian market, one of a few, CJ spies his moms favorite, gnocchi. Here there are beetroot, spinach, and the usual.
This is Smelley Cheese, our favorite but it is one of three or four.
