Owing to the COVID-19 crisis, and the reason we are blissfully stranded in Adelaide, store shelves are bare of furniture items. Our furnishing of Tomsey, is estimated to take three months. Since we don't know how long we will be successful playing visa roulette with the Australian Government, we will not be furnishing it first class.
The good news is that we begin our shopping with a favorable 30% discount rate on the Aussie dollar and during the June End of Year Financial Sales, the most significant price reductions of the Australian shopping year.
The first floor is open concept with modern clean lines and all stainless appliances.
Those are the front doors. The one on the right, slides into the one in the middle and the two of them slide into the one on the left.
This is the family room looking rear toward the atrium and master bedroom.
Modern bath rooms and great storage.
On the room, everything one needs for entertaining: sink, barbie, food prep area, small chilling fridge, seating for eight. Did we mention, great views and atmosphere. This was the site of the first Obama victory party. We supplied the food and grog, Aussie guests supplied the party favors.
The atrium opens into the family room, hall, master bedroom, and staircase to the first floor.
Now to get the place furnished and livable.
