Mexican Revolution

Mexican Revolution is a discovery we made early this trip. On one edge of the Adelaide Central Market, one we rarely frequented, we discovered a Mexican restaurant. We'd never had good Mexican food in Adelaide.

We tried it. The margaritas were excellent. They had Negro Modelo, a dark beer rare to Australia. The food was very good. The test of a Mexican restaurant's gold standard is mole. The mole enchiladas were outstanding.

Fernando, the owner was great. We are now regulars. Unfortunately the COVID shutdown has interrupted Fernando's supply lines. He hasn't had the fixings for the mole or the enchiladas since the shutdown. We are substituting other menu items. For lunch today, CJ has their version of heuvos rancheros with mixed salsa, Carol her usual fish tacos.

Lunch was very good but we screwed up. We didn't realize that today is Bastille Day and the ACM has on special promotions. We can get Fernando's Mexican anytime. Only today could we have had crepes or raclette sandwiches at Smelly Cheese. Bummer, we missed out.
