Adelaide Central Business District (CBD) Architecture - Part 1

This is my first posting of architecture seen in my walks around Adelaide. It is a historically picturesque city. It is a city with varied forms of architecture. It is an interesting city to walk. Buildings such as the one below were historically hotels with a pub on the ground floor. Now they are pubs with pokies (forms of gambling) with the second floor (Australian first floor with the one below it the ground floor) now used for additional drinking space and private parties.
This is a repurposed office building.

Since Adelaide is called the "City of Churches", I may one day collect church photos and put them in a single blog.

Carol's favorite place in town is the Adelaide Central Market (ACM). It occupies a large area behind a number of different facades. The next two pictures are the more picturesque of the facades, the first on Grote St. and the other on the other side of the block on Gouger St.
The next two pictures are part of the South Australian court complex.

These two are random repurposed historic buildings.
