Lunch in The Riverlands - Renmark

We make the 3-hour drive to Renmark for a celebration weekend. It is Brian's (Bronwyn's father) birthday and Bronwyn's birthday as well as other members of the family.

As Brian ages, he and wife Suzie are parting with family memorabilia. Today's gifting in the hand-knit gown Brian wore home from the hospital in 1936.

Lunch is at the Renmark Club. Bronwyn's brother and sister and their spouses are also attending. Another brother could not attend since he lives and is COVID stranded in New Zealand.

The quality of food is greatly improved since our last visit.

Dinner is in the dining room of the Renmark Hotel.
Following breakfast in the Renmark Hotel, family pictures along the Mighty Murray River precede a return to Adelaide. One of the original Murray River steamers is pictured in the background.
