WBBL Cricket, Dinner, and Victoria Square

It's time for ladies cricket from the Karen Rolton Oval.  It's a pretty oval surface but doesn't have much in terms of seating and facilities. We arrive in time for the team warm-ups.

The blue team is the Lady Strikers.
The organization has brought the kiddie paraphernalia and the cheerleaders and mascots with them.
This little four year old was sitting next to us on the concrete slabs.  He was smart enough to keep standing and active.  He made us miss Ryan.
They have set up a play area for the children in the high school play fields behind the oval.

We stay for a short bit of the match.  The concrete slabs have taken their toll on our buns.
A pass through the circle of food trucks doesn't stimulate our taste buds and we decide to catch the tram to a new pizza place we want to try.  This was a good idea.
The pork, veal and buffalo mozzarella balls were incredible.
Since we're only a long block from Victoria Square, the center of the Adelaide CBD we walk up.  There is a children's evening Christmas and movie event on this evening.
Here is what Adelaide children do at Christmas.  They run around in the city fountains!
Even after going to the ACM, it's still light outside.  Eventually CJ will figure out the while y'all up there in the North are experiencing the shortest day of the year, it will get dark here at 8:45 on our longest day of the year.  At the ACM, flowers are in great demand even though we're shopping for cheese.
