Our research set low expectations for Brussels. Fortunately our research was wrong. There are many interesting architectural sites in the city. On our walk to the Christmas market we pass the royal palace, Le Square, Grand Place and Place Saint Catherine. There are many interesting architectural sites of interest. In the evening the light show at the Grand Place is spectacular.
In addition to touring, a bit of beer drinking finds its way to the agenda. Stops at
A La Mort Subite, our lunch stop, and
Delirium allow us to sample six more previously unknown. Belgium beers. We have our first gueze and it is much more pleasant than expected.
