Bastogne and Antwerp

Today's goal is to leave Luxembourg early enough to complete an aggressive program and redistribute luggage at the Brussels Renaissance and find our way to Antwerp to make it to a famous bar before closing. Along the way we decide that keeping the rental car two more days is more cost effective and less trying on our bodies so we press on to Antwerp straight away.

We pay our respects on a rainy morning to General George Patton at the American Military Cemetery in Luxembourg.

The museum of the Battle of the Bulge at Bastogne is very special. We arrive during the time of year of the battle and on the 70th anniversary of the battle.

We travel through heavy rain to Antwerp.  Eventually we find the Kulminator bar with vintage beers and quite the catalog of customers. Rare and vintage Belgium beers abound and we enjoy quite the pleasant evening sampling rare brews.
