Port Moorowie and Yorke Peninsula

We are off with James and Jackie for a couple of days on the Yorke Peninsula at their place at Port Moorowie. After the drive to the Yorke, we relax the rest of the day enjoying a lunch of foie gras and two great bottles of Sauterne.
For dinner, we enjoy some beautiful local prawns.
CJ and James begin the second day with a long walk along the beach. The ability to view the sea erosion is marvelous.

We have a simple Aussie lunch at the very popular bakery in the nearby town of Middleton. We arrived at rush hour with many selections already gone and the next replenishment round still a few minutes away.

Our first stop after lunch is at, of all things on the Yorke Penisula, the Barley Stacks Winery. They have a number of different wines on offer and some are good.  James and Jackie purchase a few.  Jose is behaving himself quite nicely.
The next stop on our return is at the Watsacowie Brewing Company. The place is mobbed.  Their brew selection is broad enough that our different brew desires can all be satisfied.

We conclude the visit to Port Moorowie with a fine chook dinner, a refreshing sleep on the unseasonably cool evening, and an uneventful return drive to Adelaide.
