Heatwave, One Day International and French Festival

The Australian continent is consumed by a major heatwave. Forecasts go from bad to terrible. It's not the big temp of the moment number but the forecasts by day below.
On Day 1 of the heatwave, CJ is off for a morning bike ride. Between yesterday's riding and the heat, he only manages the zoo before returning for home and taking the shortcut at the Intercontinental.

The remainder of Day 1 which reaches 104°F is spent in the apartment doing laundry and watching the first round of the Australian Open and WBBL and BBL cricket.

Day 2 of the heatwave CJ has early morning Pilates before joining his mate Dave for the ODI (One Day International) between Australia and India.
We get to the gates early and stand in the sun and heat for 45 minutes to have a chance at seats in the Bodyline Bar. There are a lot of folks with the same idea but we're successful.
This Indian batsman is King Kholi or Virat Kholi.  He's considered the best in the world and is the captain of the Indian team.
The Adelaide scoreboard is unique.  It is one of the oldest in the world and totally hand run and mechanical.  It shows the Aussies getting beat.

There are many things going on in Adelaide and around Australia.  One in Adelaide is the French Festival. This year's theme is Brittany. We try to pull a fast one on our French friends by taking and posting a selfie in Morbian.
