Trip to Bangkok

The A-380 is a wonderful aircraft. The Qatar version even more wonderful. This is the first time we've seen a bar at 39,000 feet since 1972.
Their selection of seating is also much better than British Airways. All seats are facing forward and the lay back module is well organized and was more comfortable than that of the Boeing 777 we had on the Atlantic and Mediterranean crossing.

On our last arrival the driver was phoning us while we were in the line for immigration; an immigration no-no. We gave ourselves two hours to clear immigration and customs. The plane arrives early, there is no line at immigration and our luggage is among the first to show.  We are calling them praying they can organize an early pick-up; and they do.

Our room is not ready so we pass the time in the lounge.  CJ's off to a good start with his first Thai noodle breakfast.
