Lambrook Osso Bucco and Wine Tasting

Following a hilarious German movie with English subtitles, we take an Uber cross town to the second event, a Osso Buco wine dinner at the Lambrook in-town winery. For winter, they have taken to having Friday night events in their winery. Having only been there to pick up wine, we wonder how they will conduct a wine dinner.

On arrival we are surprised to see they have turned part of the winery into a pub, complete with a permanent bar, bathrooms, and a giant heater.

For a catered dinner, the osso buco is very good. What a smart marketing idea. You get people into your small pub on a Friday evening purchasing your wine and then you introduce them to you new wine releases.

The fellow in the denim shirt is the local dealer for Riedell wine glasses. Each wine is being served in a glass designed specially for it.
The fellow in the blue shirt is Adam Lampitt. That is the 'lam' part of Lambrook. His wife, Brooke, provides the other part of the name.
Five new release wines are presented. Adam confesses he is having difficulty selling his new limited release oaked Semillon since it is not popularly known. We inform him that the day he announced it, we purchased a case. Why? For us it is a chance to have an Australian version of Bordeaux blanc.

He introduces five wines from the new vintage.
