Daughter-in-Law India COVID Charity Dinner

DIL is having a COVID charity dinner for to help the people of India. We dine for a good cause. We are excited for this dinner since it has a fixed menu and we will have the opportunity to finally taste the entire DIL menu. Whoppie! There is a welcome cocktail, our favorite Balls of Happiness, and two other appetizers. One is a shocker to CJ. He hates cauliflower. This is an Indian spiced fried cauliflower. It is surprisingly good, that is until it gets cold; then it taste yuk, like cauliflower.

We had never had any of the dishes on this sampler platter. They are all good.

Desert is a tasty ice-cream like thing on a stick. 

We have now visited DIL four times in less than two months and always have a great meal and great time. We have the sommelier trained to our needs. We walk in the door and he takes a bottle of our favorite white wine out of the chiller and begins to warm it up. By the time it arrives at the table, the wine is well on its way to warming up to the temperature we desire.
