Furnished Tomsey Street - Second Floor

Tomsey's first floor is about cooking, entertaining, laundry, storage and relaxing with a good book.

The second floor is all about day to day living and sleeping. There are two bedrooms fronting the street. One is used as an office, the other a bedroom. Both have sliders that open to a balcony.

Unlike our house in Florida and its fancy and functional matching desks, here we've gone practical, simple and inexpensive.

The TV room has a lot of hidden storage.

The last time we lived here we had a love seat and a reclining chair. This time we elected to go with two quality Stressless brand chairs built in Scandinavia. Believe it or not, the one on the left is the baby chair (size small) and the one on the left papa chair (size large). CJ's chair, along with the dining table chairs took over two months to be delivered. Even at half price these chairs were wicked expensive but the comfort they provide are worth the expense.
At one end of the room are the entrances to the front two rooms as well as the stairwell that leads to the rooftop deck and party area. On the other end is the entrance to the master bedroom, the stairwell down, and the atrium.

We have a queen bed in the master bedroom as well as CJ's new piano. He's just started learning. The first picture is with the drape to the atrium closed.

The master bad is larger than the guest bath although the shower is smaller. There is a tub in the master. In more than two and a half years of living in this house, we've never used the bathtub.
Between the master bath and the master bedroom is a huge walk-in closet. Back in 2008, we looked at a number of houses. None had storage anywhere close to this.
