Carol needs something for this evenings dinner and dispatches CJ to the local IGA. It is less than four blocks to the store. The two block section on Halifax Street is like a stroll through the Adelaide Botanical Gardens Rose Garden, and it gets better every time we walk it as the spring carries on.
The heritage homes have front courtyards. Most have roses planted along their fences.Halifax is a major city artery. As such it is a wide thoroughfare with public gardens.
These are the beds at the corner of Tomsey St. and Halifax St.
The following day Carol shops at the other IGA only two blocks farther in the opposite direction. It is equally photogenic. This is the bottle brush tree.
