First Day in the Tundra Buggies - Afternoon - WOW!

Lunch is soup and sandwich with a hot drink laced with, our favorite, Amarula.

And now for the second four hours of the Tundra Buggy adventure. The next two pictures are of the vast expanse of the tundra.

These are the approximate "roads" buggies follow. They attempt to stay on them for environmental reasons, although a good sighting sometimes results in minor diversions.
During our lunch taken near Tundra Buggy Lodge, this mom and cub got on the move.
This bear is attempting to cross uneven and unstable ice. It's having a hard time of it.
We return to the place of excitement this morning. It continues to attract bears. The first picture is of the kill point of the seal that attracted the mob in the morning. The kill point was between the road and the sea on the sea ice that bear is crossing in the pictures above.
This is a sister Frontiers North vehicle's stern viewing platform.
A mom and pair of cubs approach to checkout the smells of the earlier kill.
This is the place where this morning a male was finishing what little was left of the seal. This is where the bears tore it apart.
Back in town, most cars are fitted with block heaters and get plugged in overnight.
