Pictures from a Bike Circumnavigation

CJ is off on another 10 mile circumnavigation of the CBD. Today's highlights: flowers, the riverbank, and Bonython Park pond and the model boat enthusiasts. Today the fellows have two remote control sailboats on the pond. These boats sail with the wind with the handlers controlling the sails.

After Bonython, the ride takes CJ through a tunnel under the northbound railroad tracks and along the river. He begins on the south bank and then crosses the Adelaide Weir to the north bank. In the background are the BBQ Buoys boats. They are small round rigid inflatables fitted with an outboard motor and barbie. Groups of up to six rent them by the hour and cruise the river while drinking and enjoying a barbie.
Across the rear wheel of CJ's bike and on the other side of the river is the convention center and adjacent hotels.
