We begin the day disembarking from Resolution and bidding farewell to the crew.
We depart Keelong via a nearby tunnel. We travel to Taipei City on an expressway to the first stop at Bao'An Temple.
As we are leaving the temple, cars and trucks pull up with loud speakers and a float. It is apparently a special Buddha ceremony. After the temple, we attend a traditional tea ceremony.
Today's lunch at the restaurant adjacent to the National Museum is much better than yesterday. It a decent version of Dim Sum.
Folks have raved about the National Museum. Perhaps it was the crowds on the holiday but we were not impressed. Impressive was the rescue of this many artifacts when this group of Chinese evacuated the mainland. The artifacts are old pieces but not our cup of tea.
We bid farewell to the Lindblad bus in the shade of the basement pickup and dropoff area of the National Museum.
