On CJ's rides around the city through the parklands, one of the early places he passes through is Veale Gardens. Last week there were no roses. This week, the first roses appear. One can begin to see roses along the garden's edge and in the sunken garden.
Pink roses appear in the sunken gardens. There are many bushes yet to bloom.
Along the boundary of the garden, one variety of orange rose is blooming.
