Candlelight Beethoven

This evening we have another Candlelight concert. This time with a different string quartet and at a new venue, Adelaide Meeting Hall, a building behind the Adelaide Town Hall.

This evening the string quartet is led by Joseph Freer, a young cellist. We have seen him twic before, the first time with the amazing pianist from Sydney. In the two previous appearances he was the supporting musician. This evening he is the one in charge.

This evening the program is entirely Beethoven. It is a well constructed program ending on a high note with the well-known Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. That's the song that begins with the V for Victory sound (dot, dot, dot, dash).
