Orion

Orion is a small cruise ship holding only 102 passengers.  We have a very nice room with a small balcony. Our room is located on the bridge deck and because the ship has an open bridge policy the location will be very convenient. We don't know it yet but we'll find the port side location to be the favored side throughout the trip.

 

Because it’s an expedition ship, there is only one dining room, one lounge and bar, the observation room which doubles as the library, and crew and passenger cabins.  There is no pool but there is an outdoor hot tub. It's more luxurious and with more amenities than we expected.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the lounge with the bar.  This is the equivalent of the bar, lounge and theater on large ships.  All lectures, assemblies, announcements and drinking will take place here.
