Destination Tokyo

I know its corny using the title of a 1943 movie but that is where we're headed. What would you expect a submarine fan.

Our Australian visa requires that we leave the country 90 days after each return so we're off on our last exit on the current visa. This visa expires on our last day in Japan. Since we have return tickets to Adelaide, we're counting on getting new visas while we're in Taiwan (assuming the Chinese don't invade in the meantime.)

We are off on our first trip to Japan. We'll be visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, Kure, Hiroshima, and Japan's Islands. We had to get out and our dates coincided with Lindblad/National Geographic repositioning cruise (Artic to Antarctic) of Resolution, the ship we took to Svalbard. The ship drops us in Taiwan where we spend a few days, pray to get a new visa, and return via a few days in Singapore.
