34 were invited, 22 attended. In the first picture is a winemaker, our Mexican caterer friend, another pair of winemakers and some of the lads from CJ's beer drinking group.
James, Jackie, Neil, Bronwyn, Meredith and Judy Cross are in this picture.Bad CJ! This is the best picture CJ took of Carol's and Fernando's magnificent food. Merideth and Sonja are unique to this picture.
Iain, who makes killer Sangiovese, Temprenillo, Pinot Grigio, and a GrĂ¼ner Vetliner is on the left, Tom Mullins is talking with Carol as well as Josh and Niran.
Evening descends on the party as the crowd thins out.
Fernando arrived around five to prepare his dishes. Guests began arriving at six and continued arriving through nearly nine. Our neighbor had double booked a Fringe show and was the first to depart before seven. The next departures were around nine.
Sometime after eleven, we were down to six: Carol and CJ, Phil and Judy, Hugh and Fernando. Phil had brought two of his museum wines. Hugh departed shortly thereafter.
We finished the first before Carol had a chance to return. It was shared among many. The second, and more magnificent of the two, was for the five of us.
We enjoyed a final drink with Fernando and finally closed up at midnight.
