We depart Chicago at 10PM Saturday evening and arrive in Bangkok at 7PM Chicago time Sunday evening or 7AM Monday morning just in time for rush hour traffic.
The ground organization of Finnair in Chicago left a lot to be desired but can be excused as we are on their inaugural flight from Chicago.
The flight between Helsinki and Bangkok is a unique experience. CJ has had it once before but this is Carol's first time. One begins the flight in daylight, flies through an entire night and lands in daytime. It's actually ideal for sleeping on an airplane!
