Flying to Chicago

After spending the night at the airport hotel in Norfolk, a 0600 flight delivers us to Philadelphia where we just make one of those infamous "legal connections". 45 minutes is barely enough time to get off a plane and change terminals.  Worse yet, our flight came into the farthest gate in F Terminal and departed from the farthest gate in C terminal.

We have a great cabbie for the ride downtown. George is a Greek and we chat the entire trip.  For the day we had four cabbies hailing from Greece, Romania, Nepal, and some Caribbean island. Three were most enjoyable and one said very little; its obvious.

Carol wants to take lunch at Rick Bayless' Frontera Grill Its a place booked out months in advance. Arriving fifteen minutes before opening time, there is already a long line waiting in the rain. The food was very good but not as great as anticipated.
