Madrid

Madrid is not one of Europe's more interesting cities. Exercising Marriott loyalty we are staying at one of their new AC (Autograph Collection) properties adjacent to the huge city park. We checked in to hotel and returned the rental car. After walking to the hotel, we walked to the  Plaza de Mayor and market where lunch consisted of oysters (resembling Sydney rock oysters), champagne, a sherry tasting, and a single fritter. Fatigue remains and dinner consists of cheese and sausage from Toledo. Tomorrow it is off to Seville.
