A very pleasant ride on the bullet train carried us to Seville. Our carriage had comfortable leather seats, power and music outlets. Once past the outskirts of Madrid, the scenery began desert like. This gave was to olive trees as far as the eye could see. In Andalusia, orange trees joined the olive trees.
Seville is a city of narrow winding streets. At times we marveled at the taxi drivers ability to negotiate his way to our hotel. The maze of narrow winding alleys provides a navigation challenge when walking the city. Our hotel reportedly has the only roof top deck in the city. We enjoyed it for both afternoon and post-dinner cocktails. The photos with the tower in the background are both taken at the hotel bar.
