Today we transfer the Poirson Family Flag to Saint Meloir des Odnes. On the way we make a short stop at Meznaot to visit friends.
Arriving at "CJ's House", on this visit we have the third floor 'penthouse suite'. Once upon a time many years ago when this ancient house was a shell, somehow Didier convinced CJ to walk on the exposed beams of this floor and look down on the concrete base of the home, three floors below. Didier inherited this home from his parents. It has always been available for our use and we've come to calling it "CJ's House". Last year he gave the home to his children and Maxim lives in it now. He has extensively renovated the ground floor. We are located near the bay of Mont St. Michel. With rain in the area, you can barely make out LMSM in the center of the frame.
The men are off to purchase seafood. Purchases come from two different markets in a nearby village. At this shop, scallops or as their called in France Coquille St. Jacques are the objective. This is the last day of the season. Didier purchases 10kg. He'll shuck and vacuum seal the meat.
At the second shop on the village's main street along the bay, we're after langoustines. The storm has passed and Le Mont St. Michel is visible now.
