Pauillac & Margaux - Part 2

Departing Château Dauzac, the return to the ship meanders through Margaux and Pauillac for a tour of famous Margaux and Pauillac château. First up Château Marquis de Terme.

Château Palmer of Margaux.

One cannot see the famous Château Margaux from the road. We pass through the small villages of the region.

Departing Margaux we have a circuitous tour of Pauillac. We begin at the top of the wine world with Château Lafite Rothchild. 

We don't remember the names of the next two château.

This is Château Cos D'Estournel.

Next up Château Pichon Baron.

We pass more famous château. 

Looking across the vineyards, the thin blue horizontal line is the Gironde River.

We return to the ship docked in Pauillac.

La Fayette came to Pauillac to get a ship and men to fight in the American Revolution.
