Edinburg Cellars Champagne and Wine Tasting

Today we have tickets for the Edinburg Cellars champagne tasting. Years ago, CJ attended their Shiraz Challenge with mates. It was a sellout wondrous affair which crowned the best Shiraz wine of many great offerings.

This event doesn't compare. The Shiraz Challenge was held under a huge tent with dozens of tables serving a few hundred wines. This event is held under a few backyard party-style tents with five tables. 

The offerings are limited and worse, of limited quality. Nothing we taste is worth purchase.

Tickets are timed and give access for one hour. We could not get tickets for the first hour but have tickets for the second of three hours.

In addition to champagne and bubbly, they also offer white, rose, and red wines. There are only a few white wines we would purchase.

Following the event, we peruse the wine shop. This is the shop we purchase French blanc de blanc. We load our purchases into an Uber car and return home.
