Off to Ski

We had another fine meal complimented by Robert's fine hand crafted cocktails at Shiptown in downtown Norfolk before setting in at the Residence Inn near the airport.

Good fortune smiled on us and delivered upgrades for both of our flight to Charlotte and on to Denver.  Why is it 75 degrees in Denver?

We laid in supplies for the week of skiing in the afternoon at Trader Joe's and had a short walk about on Pearl St. It had to be truncated thanks to a lost hour working with an ISP to get connected in our room.

Our evening at Avery was its usual spectacular experience.  10 beers tasted, 8 brews loved, three growlers headed to the mountain. Another good Avery dinner shared with our friend Dennis.

Those are very generous pours and in very large glasses.  Full glasses were unnecessary.
