We head for picturesque nearby Cancale. Our first stop is at the beach Didier frequented as a child.
The beauty of Cancale never disappoints.
A constant line of large tractors pulling flat beds or flat bottomed oyster boats that are filled with sacks of sorted oysters pass down the main street. It is low tide and the sorted sacks of oysters are being returned to the sea which accounts for the parade of vehicles.
We take time out to have a drink and shop.
Didier and Jocelyne spend the afternoon making a homemade plateau fruits de mer.
