The Walk to Veale Gardens

Having ridden past Veale Gardens on the return ride from therapy, CJ decided to take a walk with Carol to show her the rose gardens. There are pretty flowers and yellow roses within one block.

Even more in the next block.

Two blocks from our house is the Secateurs Community Garden. At this garden people get to plant and share plants and vegetable plants. Two of our neighbors run it.

We are walking to Veale Gardens the long way; the way CJ bikes to it. We are walk through the parks and not directly by the city streets.

In a month or so, this will be a beautiful tree lined shaded promenade. 

This is one of the smaller gum trees growing in the parks.

It is about a 2-mile walk to the gardens.
