Narvik to Svolvær

It is a beautiful day. The sun is lighting the mountain peaks in the early morning. At this time of year, the sun barely rises above the horizon throughout the day. A nearly full moon shares the sky with the sun the entire day.

Note the distinctive tree line in this picture. The altitude of this tree line cannot be much more than a few thousand feet.
Our lunch stop is at the base of a large suspension bridge. The fiord and mountains provide beautiful pictures.
Did you know where the term 'bluetooth' comes from?

The Bluetooth logo originated as a combination of two Scandinavian runes representing the initials "HB" of the 10th-century Danish King Harald "Bluetooth" Gormsson. The logo fuses the runes Hagall (ᚼ) and Bjarkan (ᛒ) to form a "bind rune". This symbol was chosen in the late 1990s as a tribute to the king who united Scandinavia, symbolizing the technology's goal of uniting devices.

The long ride to Svolvær continues. Landscape and scenery change around every corner!
We move between islands via a tunnel.
Today is all about scenery.
Scenic beauty up to and including sunset.
