Rouge in Gluttony

This evening we are in Gluttony, for the Fringe show Rouge. It is a beautiful evening in Adelaide. For a Wednesday evening, there are a lot of people dining and walking about in the venue.

Carol returns to her favorite seafood food stall for fish cheeks. They are delicious, or so she claims.
Rouge is an acrobatic show set to music.

For the final act, two guys arrive bearing a long, narrow bamboo-like stick. One of the gymnasts arrives mounts the stick as if it were a balance beam. In the sequence below. she compresses the stick, launches into the air, performs a somersault, and lands on the stick. It is hard enough to do in the Olympics with a fixed balance beam but this is a moving platform. She is at the mercy of the two fellows anchoring the beam.

WOMADelaide, a concurrent music festival going on in Adelaide, is being held this year in the park next to Gluttony. This spot lit tree is within the WOMADelaide venue site.
