While strolling and photographing his way through the rose garden he recalls that the last time we were in the Gardens in the Spring, there were no dahlias.
It should be dahlia season and he is not far from the Dahlia Garden. Let's have a look. This is the 1st of three parts.

How many times have I biked through West Terrace Cemetery and not seen these grave sites? How many times have I stopped in the Italian section of the cemetery, a section adjacent to these sites and not seen them? It is not like they are in a middle area. They are located at the intersection of two roads in the cemetery.
Suddenly one day while biking his normal path through, he saw this section.
